“Before I began exercising (and pre-joint replacement) I would have difficulty walking in a straight line down the hallway at work.
I never paid it much mind, but was aware of it at the same time. Since I started to exercise, and pay more attention to my core, I can now see and feel a difference in my gait. When I walk down the hall at work now, I feel steady on my feet and more confident in my stride. Had I not experienced this for myself, I probably would have never believed it could happen! Coming from a person that never exercised, I can say that I’m so glad I do it now because of the improvements I feel.”- A. Tryniszewski I came to Liz after my first tennis elbow surgery in May of 2022. It was the only way my Dr. would release me back to a workout program. Since then Liz has seen me through a second tennis elbow surgery, a Semicircular Canal Dehiscence diagnosis, and a herniated disc with extrusion diagnosis, in the last 6 months. Talk about a hot mess!!! Liz has researched my problems, better than I did, and came up with a plan that will benefit me the best and get me back to my former flexibility and strength, with better balance. Her focus is on the hope that I won't need back surgery, but if I do the current group of exercises will benefit me the most. Liz makes these workouts fun, we have lots of laughs as well as serious conversations. I would recommend her to anyone who just wants to feel better about them selves and where they are in their life!! - D. Farrell

“Better balance, mobility, flexibility & strength. I can carry the full laundry basket up & down the basement stairs without holding the railing. I can get up out of a chair without using my arms. I have more energy & stamina. No more naps during the day. Exercise helps me control my weight. As a woman of a certain age, being able to keep my weight under control is a plus. Lastly, and Liz, I'll leave this up to you whether to include or not but, exercise, especially yoga, can help improve one's sex life!
Oh, one more thing. I was diagnosed with osteopenia in my hips in 2021. My Doctor recommended weight bearing & muscle strengthening exercises. My most recent bone density scan just this month showed little to no change in bone loss. Another benefit! I'm so glad I started exercising and met you in 2017, Liz. I can't thank you enough for your guidance, knowledge, and encouragement over the years 💚 - L. Farrell 71yo “In doing the time management exercise, I realized that I did have the time to exercise in the morning ….but that I was allowing a lot of mundane tasks to crowded it out.
It was a matter of evaluating and prioritizing what I thought was important rather than just checking off things on my to-do list. I also realized that I didn’t have to have a solid hour with no distractions and no interruptions, I could start small and build my way up. Thanks Liz!” - M. Oill |
“I definitely feel the workouts have helped with my body mechanics, I can get up and down from the floor easier, (which is important when I’m at work) it helps clear my mind and reduce my stress. I always sleep better afterTuesday night's class. I have also noticed some changes physically. My thighs look a little toned!” - J. Deeg
Liz and I have been working together for a number of years. She helped me get stronger pre and post hip replacement surgery. She's guided me through so many helpful sessions designed to maintain my strength, mobility and flexibility. I feel very grateful to Liz and all she has done to help me through this challenging aging process. Liz listens. She can change up our routine based on morning stiffness or unexpected issues that may be present. When our workout session is finished, I always feel better. I am very grateful to have Liz as my Trainer. -M. Jakway
